How a PlayMC address works
From a raw IP to a name players remember
The server stays where it is. PlayMC changes what players have to remember.

Start with something your players already know.
Choose the ending that fits your community.

Both domains use the same creation and management flow. The difference is how your address sounds.
A name travels further than an IP.
Give players something they can remember, type, and share while your server stays exactly where it is.
Examples shown for illustration. The address changes. Your server does not.
PlayMC focuses on one practical job: making an existing Minecraft server easier to name, share, and maintain.
Keep your current server
Point the address to an existing IPv4 address or hostname.
Keep your port
Use the current SRV behavior when the server runs on a non-default port.
Change the destination later
Edit the target or port from the dashboard without changing the address players remember.
Manage everything from one account
Create, review, update, and remove your existing addresses from the PlayMC dashboard.
Questions before you create an address
The dashboard explains each field when you are ready to start.
Is PlayMC free?
Yes. PlayMC currently provides free subdomains on its supported root domains.
Which domains can I use?
You can create an address under play-mc.fun or serverjoc.ro when the selected domain is available in the dashboard.
How many addresses can I create?
A standard account can manage up to three active addresses. Your dashboard shows the exact limit available to your account.
Can I use a custom Minecraft port?
Yes. Enter a port between 1 and 65535 and PlayMC uses the existing SRV behavior for Minecraft connections.
Can I edit an existing address?
Yes. You can change the host prefix, target IP or hostname, and server port from the dashboard.
How quickly are changes applied?
PlayMC submits the DNS change when you save. External DNS resolver caches can take additional time to refresh.
Can I delete an address?
Yes. Deletion requires confirmation and removes the address and its DNS records.
Do I need to manage DNS myself?
No. You provide the address and server target; PlayMC manages the supported DNS record setup.
Your server already has an address.

Choose a memorable PlayMC address and continue with Discord to connect it to the server you already run.
